Having been in small business for around 40 years, we understand how difficult it is at times to make ends meet and one of the most important considerations is getting your supplies at the right price. We would like to help you do this when purchasing opals wholesale.

We also service manufacturing jewelers who require unset opal stones to be set for their customers. These can be free-form shapes that require handmade or wax carved work, or calibrated oval crystal opals to be used in standard castings. These stones can vary in price from just a few dollars per piece to many thousands. They can vary in size from 3mm to 6mm round crystals as well as 5×3 to 14x10mm ovals.

We can also supply calibrated opal triplets in all grades from 5x3mm through to 18x13mm including round stones from 3mm to 6mm. Solid crystal and white opal are also available in the same calibrated sizes up to 14×10 mm.

We supply rough white opal from the Coober Pedy fields and crystal opal from this field as well as Lightning Ridge dark opal when it becomes available. Mostly we supply rubs more than rough, so that opal cutters can see what they are getting online to avoid disappointment.

Because we mine opal as well as process it, we are able to supply opal rough, both in a mine-run state or broken down into more manageable sizes.  But buying rough opal is not easy and there are many traps  that need to be avoided to make sure you are happy with your purchase.  Keeping this in mind, please let us know what experience you have in opal cutting and whether or not you need some free assistance from us before buying anything.
